AKSU Post UTME & Direct Entry Screening Form 2020/2021 | Eligibility & How To Apply

The Akwa Ibom State University hereby invites all suitably qualified candidates that participated in the 2020 UTME for it’s 2020/2021 Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise. see also,  http://aksu.edu.ng for more information. AKSU UTME minimum cut off mark is 180.

NOTICE: The 2020/2021 screening form for Akwa Ibom State University, AKSU is not currently out online. Please disregard any information telling you that the form is out. We shall update this post as soon as the application form is out online.

This aim of this post is to guide all aspirants before the commencement of the exercise and give you all the relevant information you need for a successful registration and also help you gain admission in AKSU this year. Below, you will see relevant information like Eligibility, Course Requirements, and how to apply

ELIGIBILITY FOR UTME CANDIDATES

The University has made it clear on their website that all prospective students seeking for admission through UTME  must meet the following requirements below.

  • O’level requirements: A minimum of 5 credits in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at SSCE, GCE or any other equivalant result.
  • Candidate must obtain a minimum of 180 in UTME (subject to change)
  • Minimum Post UTME score of 180. you can request to switch to less competitive course if you scored low in your post UTME
  • In addition to the above, candidates must choose AKSU as their first most preferred institution or second choice before you can apply for the screening test.
  • Also note that candidates that scored less than 180 are not eligible for admission into any faculty/department in AKSU
  • Remember that AKSU will use your average scores from the UTME and Post-UTME screening tests to calculate your final score before they can admit you.
  • The Cut-off mark varies from less competitive to more competitive courses

ELIGIBILITY FOR DE CANDIDATES

  • O’level requirements: A minimum of 5 credits in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at SSCE, GCE or any other equivalent result.
  • The school will accept A levels, OND or NCE in relevant subject for your preferred course/department.
  • Candidates are expected to obtain a good score in the Direct Entry Exercise
  • Finally, selection will be based on aggregate combination of the candidate’s certificates and score in the direct entry screening test. DO ensure you present your best available Certificate

How To Apply

The application can be gotten online and only from the school portal. It can be processed in any cyber cafe on the school campus or any other participating business center outside the school. We are aware that some candidates might want to obtain and process the application form themselves that why we provided detailed registration guidelines below

  • First log on to the screening application portal at http://www.aksu.edu.ng and click on admission and select either UTME or Direct Entry admission. Proceed to input your entries and generate your payment invoice
  • After you have successfully generated your invoice, proceed to make payment or go to any participating bank as stated by the school to make requested payment.
  • On completion of the above step, visit back the portal to complete the registration and print your acknowledgement slip.
  • NOTICE: Ensure that your entries are correctly entered to avoid disqualification
