Plateau State University is a state university in Plateau state,  founded in 1997. Although the school began it’s academic session in 2008 but went out of session until 2011.

The school started with about 408 students and has since then increased in number and efficiency.

During the period of no academic session, the students were transferred to the University of Jos.

Importantly, candidates have many courses to study in PLASU.

When choosing a course, consider your JAMB score and the aggregate for that course because this will determine students admission.

The above listed departments have different cut-off marks so it is important to note them.

CUT- OFF MARK

Law – 220

Medicine and Surgery – 240

Physiology, Anatomy, Pharmacy – 200

All Engineering courses – 200

Computer Science – 200

Others – 180

Now that you have known the cut-off mark,  it is also important to know the school fees.

SCHOOL FEES RATE

The school fees range for indigene is different from the school fees for non-indigene.

The amount below includes tuition fee, acceptance fee and every other payment for a session.

  • Indigene  – 63,000
  • Non-indigene – 113,000

ELIGIBILITY / QUALIFICATIONS

  • candidates who scored from 180 and above in JAMB.
  • Students who choose PLASU as their first choice in JAMB.

DIRECT ENTRY

DE students with higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND),  with minimum of lower credit are eligible to apply.

HOW TO APPLY

Visit the school’s website : www.plasu.edu.ng

  • Browse fees.plasu.edu.ng and make payment  (2,000.00)
  • Fill the online form
  • Submit your documents online
  • Print two copies of the online slips.

Local government identification letter

Birth certificate

JAMB slip

Note: Do not include names that are not on your WASSC as this could be considered false and is likely punishable.
