Finally, the long awaited list is out! Nigeria police force (NPF) has finally released their 2021 shortlisted candidates.
Applicants who applied for the 2021/2022 online recruitment exercise can now check if they have been shortlisted.
Only applicants who applied correctly through the official Nigeria police force recruitment portal would be shortlisted.
Therefore, if you didn’t apply through the online officially portal, you might not get shortlisted.

NPF Shortlist Update 2021
If you went through this process outlined below then you have no need to worry about being being shortlisted.
- Did you apply online through the official Nigeria police recruitment portal @ www.nigeriapolice.gov.ng
- If you provided the right details stating from name and other personal data. The name you provide should be the same name on your documents, else, might be considered false.
- Uploading of original documents and well scanned could be another criteria. If your documents was blurry, it could disqualify you.
- Any falsified information or document could lead to disqualification and even prosecution.
- Importantly, if you applied more than once, you would be automatically disqualified.
- If you are sure that you submitted your online application form, then you are good to go.

How to Check NPF Shortlisted Candidates 2021
The Nigeria Police will release names of candidates shortlisted for screening, exams and interview.
Although, the shortlist will include names of applicants that met NPF requirements. If you are successful, you will receive email from Nigeria Police recruitment board informing you of the next stage.
To check your name, you need to go to Nigeria Police Recruitment Portal at www.nigeriapolicerecruitment.gov.ng.
Follow the instructions on the portal to check your name or download NPF Shortlist PDF.
Note: NPF physical screening is compulsory for all shortlisted candidates.
Also, final selection of candidates will depend solely on general performance of candidates including their physical and mental health condition.
