Western Oregon University, which was established in 1856 and is based in Monmouth, is a public university dedicated to improving communities and transforming lives. With an enrolment of 5,445 students, 4,808 undergraduate students and 637 graduate students, it is a mid-sized university.
About the Grant Scholarship:
The Oregon International Cultural Scholarship (ICSP) program is intended for international students with a good academic record and financial needs.
For the academic year 2020-2021, the Western Oregon University Scholarship has begun to accept foreign students. It acknowledges foreign students with leadership skills, an outstanding academic record and outstanding needs who wish to study at the University of Oregon.
This curriculum contains elements of cultural service as well. The candidates selected will receive a tuition scholarship, but in return they will have to provide the State of Oregon with a minimum of 80 hours per academic year of cultural and educational service.
Scholarship Benefits from Western Oregon University:
This scholarship provides selected waivers of student tuition fees ranging from 0-15 academic/term non-resident credit. For each year, the scholarship value will stay the same.
Criteria for Application:
Good record in academia.
Good skills in conversation.
Demonstrate consistency as well as presentation abilities.
Students should not be U.S. residents, nor should they be eligible for federal financial aid.
Experience of being active in cultural programs.
Admitted to the University of Oregon or meeting the university’s admission requirements at least.
